Hang in there - trust me when I say the pacemaker is only a drop in the bucket. My dad had one for years and it didn't slow him down a bit. I told him if it kept him going full speed ahead, why not!! It is a good thing and I wouldn't be hesitant to take a closer look at it being part of your recovery.
But glad to have him at UW - they are an excellent hospital and surely a little closer to home!!!
